Texture Study: Pastel Pottery Glaze

I stumbled upon some very neat-looking pots at a local greenhouse, and decided to do a material/texture study based off of one.

I re-created the patterns within Designer entirely from scratch, using basic shapes, warp, tiles and 2D transforming tools. I used a simple gradient map to give it its colors, and a mix of the Shape Splatter node with some texture maps to simulate the light blue sprinkles that seem to gather within the creases of the material.

Overall this was a pretty fun exercise.
